Entertainment Alternatives in Colorado Springs, CO

Many residents and visitors come to Colorado Springs for the famous Pikes Peak. The city hosts a number of trails and parks near the Rocky Mountains, leading the city to be well renowned for it's beautiful sceneries.

Colorado Springs has also grown popular for it's rock formations and other unique geological features. One of the more popular ones is the Hot Springs Pool, the largest year-round outdoor pool in the world.

These include the Pikes Peak Marathon which is an annual run to the top of Pikes Peak Mountain; the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, an annual automobile race with multiple car classes over several days; Frontier Days; the Colorado Balloon Classic - the largest hot air balloon event in the area-; and a multitude of parades and festivals for most major holidays, including the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, St. Patrick's Day and Mardi Gras.
